                    Spring Fling in Warm Springs

        memories at Historic Warm Springs’ 24th annual “Spring Fling” Festival on Saturday & Sun-
      day, April 12 & 13, 2025! The day will be filled with local and regional crafters, food vendors,
                               and fun activities for the whole family. Enjoy browsing in
                               our specialty shops and dining at a variety of unique spots,
                               including  a  steakhouse,  coffee  shop,  ice  cream   parlor,
                                 traditional BBQ joint, and breakfast options. Don’t  forget to
                               check out the famous Bulloch House Restaurant,  renowned
                               for its traditional Southern favorites.
                                 This charming Victorian town was established in 1893
                               as Bullochville and renamed Warm Springs in 1936. First
      visiting in 1924, seeking relief and treatment for his paralysis from polio, President Franklin D.
      Roosevelt built his “Little White House” in 1932. Nestled at the foot of Pine Mountain, Warm
      Springs is also home to Georgia’s largest state park and one of two national fish hatcheries in

                 Meriwether County Elevates the Arts
        Immerse yourself in the stunning landscapes of Meriwether County at the 9th Annual Open
      Air Meriwether event, happening from April 9-12, 2025. Sponsored by Arts Meriwether, Big
      Red Oak Plantation, and Artisans on the Square, this event features professional artists painting
      outdoors, known as “En Plein Air,” while enjoying rustic accommodations at Big Red Oak
      Plantation in Gay. The closing reception for Open Air Meriwether will be House Seed in the
      Cotton Fair Grounds in Gay GA.
        Everyone is invited to meet and greet the artists on Saturday, April
      12, from 1-4pm. You can purchase their original paintings that day
      only or online at OpenAirMeriwether.com. Online sales will run from
      Wednesday, April 9 until midnight on Sunday, April 13. All proceeds
      support arts education in Meriwether County.
        This year  Artisans on the Square Gallery will be hosting the
      Meriwether Monarch Art Show alongside the traveling exhibit of
      Georgia’s State Art Collection:  REIMAGINE: Contemporary Georgia Artists. State Art Collection

             Peaches in the Pines Art & Music Festival
                              Come One Come All… For the Annual Peaches in the Pines
                           Arts and Music Festival set for Saturday, June 14th, at beautiful
                           Lake Meriwether located in Woodbury, Georgia. This event will
                           include arts, crafts, live music & entertainment, and children’s
                           activities. The festival will take place from 10am to 6pm and
                           admission is $5 per vehicle.
                              Visitors will be able to shop from vendors with a wide  variety
                           of arts and crafts and delicious food. There will be  Georgia-grown
                           produce to include  peaches and homemade peach ice cream! The
                           children’s activities will include pony rides, carnival rides, and
                           face painting.
