Candlelight in Warm Springs
Want to experience that small-town movie magic in real life? Make your own special
memories amongst thousands of twinkling lights as you enjoy the unique charm of Historic
Warm Springs. Our opening weekend features welcoming Santa to town on Friday, Novem-
ber 21 at 6:30pm and our traditional hometown
Christmas parade on Saturday, November 22
at 6:30pm. Shops and restaurants are open
throughout the week and offer extended shop-
ping hours on Friday and Saturday evenings
through December 21.
This charming town was established in 1893
as Bullochville and renamed Warm Springs in
1936. First visiting in 1924, seeking relief and
treatment for his paralysis from polio, Pres-
ident Franklin D. Roosevelt built his “Little
White House” in 1932. Nestled at the foot of
Pine Mountain, Warm Springs is also home to
Georgia’s largest state park and one of two national fish hatcheries in the state.
